my grandad was brill i loved him so much, he was good fun and when he used to come and stay over to babysit us we would laugh all night at his snoring.
He was married to my nan lil and had a really happy relationship, they had three children barry, sandra and glenda they was a very happy family.
he loved his gardenening and his pond and he used to do the football pools every weekend. once he thought he had won and was so excited that he could take my nan to barbados but he then realised he had the wrong date newspaper and hadnt won. they never got to go abroad.
the one thing i really remember is how he used to always take us to the chippy and buy us saveloy and chips when he was looking after us.
i miss him so much, he knew he was going to pass over as on xmas day 1989 he said to me i love you be a good girl for mum i kissed him. that night i remember seeing him standing in my doorway smiling at me, i sat up but he was gone. the next day i told mum early about it and then we got a call to say he had passed away. he visited me i know he did.
you were the bast grandad ever and i love you so much.
